Title: Thermochemical evolution of magmatic systems: insights from in situ observation and numerical modelling of apatite growth, dissolution and zonation patterns

1 postdoc/RA to work on numerical modelling of magma chamber processes.

Title: Triggering mechanisms of large magnitude explosive volcanic eruptions in the Sumatra subduction zone​​​​​​​​

1 postdoc/postgraduate student to work on petrology, in-situ microanalysis, and thermodynamic/magma dynamics modelling.​

Postgraduate scholarships

The standard RPg scholarship at HKU is $19,000+ HKD per month (HKU-PS and HKPFS scholarships provide ~$28,700 monthly salary and annual travel grants).​​ The application deadline of the main round is December 1st.
